World War III Is Coming: Is The USA on the Wrong Side?

isis-flagI am sure most have you have seen that Turkey has shot down a Russian bomber that they claim was in their airspace. Many people are wondering what the big deal about that is. Turkey is a member of NATO. What that means, is that under treaty, we must help defend Turkey from any aggression against them. Therefore, if this little dispute between Turkey and Russia escalates, we will join the fight on the side of Turkey.

This poses many problems. The evidence is beginning to look like Turkey did shoot down the Russian bomber in an unprovoked act of aggression. Turkey claims that they warned the Russian bomber to leave their airspace 17 times. Russia claims they were never in Turkish airspace, and they never received any warnings from Turkey.

Someone is obviously lying. We would want to assume that our ally (Turkey) is telling the truth. But there is a problem with that. Turkey also claims that the Russian bomber was in their airspace for 17 seconds. That means, according to Turkey’s claim, they warned Russia 10 times, and then fired their missiles all within 17 seconds.

If Turkey is lying, and did attack Russia in an unprovoked attack, why would they have done it? Russia isn’t threatening Turkey. Russia is fighting ISIS, and ISIS is everyone enemy right? There seems to be several sources that are claiming that Turkey is helping ISIS in an attempt to instigate regime change in Syria. A recent US led raid of an ISIS compound revealed evidence the Guardian is reporting, revealed links “so clear” and “undeniable” between Turkey and ISIS “that they could end up having profound policy implications for the relationship between us and Ankara,”

Newsweek recently ran a story that quotes an ISIS defector as saying “ISIS commanders told us to fear nothing at all because there was full cooperation with the Turks,”

Is it a surprise that while the US Government claims to be engaged in a fight against ISIS, their allies seem to be supporting them? Not really. The US helped create ISIS in an attempt to overthrow the Syrian government. The US government now tries to distance itself from that inconvenient truth now that ISIS has become the major threat.

ISIS, as we know it today, started in April 2013, when Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi announced the merger, in Syria, between multiple Islamic rebel groups, including the al-Nusra Front, and that the name of the new group would be the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) or translated as Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS).

bu2i87jcyaa8tcc.jpg-largeThe April 2013 date is important because the US started to back the unorganized Syrian Rebels in early 2012, and by August 2012 had said that “U.S. and European officials have said that there have been noticeable improvements in the coherence and effectiveness of Syrian rebel groups” as a result of the aid that the US and its allies had given the groups. As recently as earlier last week, Russian government backed media has reported that the Al-Nusra Front (part of ISIS as we mentioned earlier) has released a video thanking the US for providing them with TOW missile systems.

So it seems the US and her allies have, in an attempt to rid the world of one evil (Assad), have mistakenly created a bigger evil (ISIS). Instead of admitting this mistake, the US and its allies may end up engaged in a world war against the people trying to get rid of the bigger evil that we created.

Oh what tangled webs we weave.

  1. […] In fact, ISIS didn’t exist until April of 2013. In Early 2012, the USA started to train and arm the mostly unorganized Syrian rebels, and by late 2012, “U.S. and European officials have said that there have been noticeable improvements in the coherence and effectiveness of Syrian rebel groups” (according to thetruthhunter.com).
