There has been a lot of speculation recently about an economic collapse coming in the fall of 2015. Everyone seems to have their own ideas as to what will cause it, and exactly when it will happen, but they all agree it is coming.
US senator Ron Paul says our currency will collapse first. This will set off a chain reaction causing the stock market to fall by 50% or more.
Former Texas Governor Rick Perry claims that the same factors that led to the 2008 recession are still at work.
Financial publication Forbes claims that stocks are, once again, in a bubble. And financial website Marketwatch goes a step further by claiming the US stock market is in the 3rd biggest bubble in history.
According to the website BusinessInsider, Housing is in another bubble. And CNN Money agrees. This is even more troubling when the news that American home ownership is at a 19 year low is taken into account. This means that the people buying up homes, and driving the current bubble are speculators.
Does a Bubble Have To Burst?
Many people speculate that the economy is just doing well. There is no bubble, and there is no threat of a “burst” or economic collapse. However, many factors seem to show otherwise. The US Government recently admitted that the slow economic growth that it has been reporting for the last 3 years wasn’t as good as they claimed it was (and it wasn’t that good to begin with).
Some proponents of the economy will claim that low unemployment means the economy is doing well. However, Forbes reports that a record number of Americans have left the workforce. These are people who have given up on finding a job, and are no longer counted in the official unemployment figures. Therefore, the low unemployment numbers are actually very deceiving.
What all of this shows is that the strong growth in the housing, and stock markets is based on speculation that the recovery is strong. Yet all factors point to a continued weak recovery. These differences between reality and speculation should manifest catastrophically in the coming months causing an economic collapse.
Is The Economic Collapse Planned?
Economic factors seem to be in place to facilitate a collapse. But have they been put their on purpose? Recently, a friend of mine sent me a video by Rabi Jonathan Cahn warning of the 2015 Shemitah. I will link the video below, but for a brief synopsis, read on. The Shemitah is a sabbatical year. Literally translated to “to release” it is the 7th year (much like the Sabbath is the 7th day). Traditionally, the Shemitah year is supposed to be a year of rest, and a time when outstanding debts are released. In fact, the final day of the Shemitah year (which is September 13, 2015) is the day when finances are wiped out, according to Rabi Cahn.
Rabi Cahn goes on to explain that when a nation falls away from God, the final day of Shemitah becomes a day of judgement. He has some compelling evidence for this showing that the 7 year cycle of Shemitah coincides with many economic disasters. The 2008 recession, the 2001 9/11 attacks and subsequent stock market crash, the great bond massacre of 1994, Black Monday in 1987, The 1980 Recession, The 1973 Oil Embargo, and subsequent financial mess, The 1966 crash… The 7 year cycle of stock market crashes is well documented, and appears to always land near the end of the Shemitah.
I, however, do not believe that God is punishing us with stock market crashes because we allow abortions, or gay marriage. I do believe that there are people who do believe that, and act accordingly. These actions alone can trigger sell offs, and other events that landslide into crashes.
I also believe that there are people among the Jewish faith that believe that Rabbinic Law allows them to steal from non Jewish people. (I believe it is a small group, but I have met Israeli people who have confirmed that belief to me… so there are at least some). If one is to believe the “Jewish Banking Cartel” conspiracy theories, it would not be a huge leap to believe the people behind those conspiracies would believe that Rabbinic Law permits them to orchestrate financial crashes under the guise of Shemitah to reclaim finances from non Jewish people that they believe was willed to them by God.
Again, I do not believe that this is some vast “Jewish conspiracy”. I do believe it is possible that there are wicked people using Jewish dogma to mask their nefarious plans.
